METRO was founded in Germany in 1964. Within over 50 years of its operation, METRO was first opened in Slovakia in 1998 and since then has established 6 of its branches in Slovakia.

 

Since it arrived in Slovakia, METRO has undergone a dynamic development, which to this day is accompanied by an annual increase in the number of operating stores.
